Converged Infrastructure Management by HP: Hyper- Convergence
The technique of Hyper Convergence is the latest offering from HP. This has helped HP grow extremely fast year on year compared to gaints like IBM etc. 
Hyper Converged systems are pre-configured from the factory itself with hardware, VMware and management software pre-built into it. All one has to do it is install and initiate it on the premises.
 
CS 242 helps in virtualizing the data. It is targeted at companies with around 50 odd users.

  • Four compute nodes with VMware vSphere and StoreVirtual software 
  • 80 CPU cores @ 2.8 GHz each 
  • 1 TB RAM total 
  • 8x 10GbE and 8x 1GbE ports total 
  • 16 x 1.2 TB SAS SFF drives and 8 x 400 GB SFF SSDs total with Adaptive Optimization
