Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 03 March, 2014: Prologix Distribution, a leading Value Added Distributor (VAD) of IT and Telecom Technological Products in the MEA region, has signed the Master Distributorship Agreement with AFL (America Fujikura Limited), a 100% subsidiary of Fujikura Ltd of Japan. AFL is world’s leading provider of Fiber Optic products and Test and Measurement Equipment which they manufacture and distribute. For the first-time ever, AFL is going to start an Authorized Service and Calibration Center in UAE for their customers with the association of their local partner and Master Distributor Prologix, who will undertake the complete servicing, calibration and repair of the AFL products.

 

Headquartered in South Carolina, US, AFL for the past 30 years has continuously delivered industry-leading products and solutions to its customers. The target markets that traditionally depended on AFL’s products include Mobile Service Provider, System Integrator, FTTH Installer, Internet Service Provider, Electric Utility Boards, Broadband, Communications, OEM, Enterprises, Wireless, Oil and Gas, Mining, Nuclear, Avionics, renewable and intelligent grid amongst others. The company’s products bouquet includes fiber optic cable, transmission and substation accessories, Fiber outside plant equipment, Fiber inside plant equipment, connectors and accessories and test and inspection equipment.
